BBL SkinTyte FAQ's

How long does it take to see results from SkinTyte?

Results can vary depending on the individual, treated area, and the settings used by the provider. Most patients see optimal results from their SkinTyte treatment three months after their treatment series.

What does SkinTyte feel like?

Each flash of BBL produces a feeling of warmth. Most patients easily tolerate the feeling with no anesthetic numbing cream. Your clinician will advise you on your treatment options.

How many SkinTyte treatments will I need?

Results can be seen in as little as one treatment. However, the number of treatments will depend on the severity of your skin laxity, with a typical patient requiring a series of 3 to 5 treatments.

How does SkinTyte work?

During a SkinTyte procedure, the provider will apply the laser over the treated area four times. Each pass will deliver gentle heat to promote collagen production while maintaining optimal skin surface temperature, keeping the treatment comfortable and downtime low. The result is improved skin for up to 12 months or longer.

What type of results should I expect following treatment?

Patients can expect mild redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn sensation, for a few minutes following the procedure. Most patients apply makeup and return to normal activities immediately following treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

SkinTyte is typically performed as part of a series, spaced approximately 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the depth and coverage area of the treatment, as well as the health and integrity of the skin being treated.
