Dr. William Scott
Medical Director
A native of the Upstate, born and raised in Easley, S.C. After graduating from the Citadel in 1969, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1972. Dr.Scott attended Clemson University, where he received his preparatory courses for medical school and went on to the Medical University of South Carolina to graduate with his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) in 1977. He completed his Family Practice Residency in Greenville, SC from 1977-1980.Dr. Scott became Board Certified in Addiction Medicine in 2009 and received a certification in functional medicine and age management through Cenegenics in 2012. He was also one of the first physicians in South Carolina to prescribe buprenorphine for addiction. He prides himself on knowing how to get people off of buprenorphine and works hard to the end of treatment. Dr. Scott’s proudest achievement is being a person in long term recovery for over 20 years.
Kendall Dorie
Nurse Practitioner
Kendall originally hails from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Theater Arts in 2010 and from the University of Detroit Mercy with a BSN in Nursing in 2011. She worked in hospice, emergency, trauma, intensive care and home health nursing before graduating summa cum laude with her Masters of Science in Nursing via the University of Michigan Flint in 2019. By sheer accident, she had been placed with Dr. Scott as a nursing student, where she was introduced to the moving and challenging work of addiction treatment. She was instantly drawn to the staff and patients and has become an advocate for increasing access to substance use disorder treatment. Kendall believes addiction is just one of many facets of a person, and that all parts must be treated for one to achieve meaningful healing.Kendall also oversees patient care with Personalized Healthcare, Dr. Scott’s medical practice servicing all ages, and Serenity Med Spa. She is the mother of 3 fantastic girls and 2 fur babies, and enjoys time on the lake with her family.
Crystal Richey
Nurse Injection Specialist
Crystal uses the most advanced and safest non-surgical techniques to formulate a customized care plan for every patient. Practicing aesthetic medicine since 2007. Initially alongside a leading plastic surgeon as his director of nursing in an outpatient surgery center. Credentials include; Licensed ARQUEDERMA Practitioner, member of American Plastic Surgery Nurses. Trauma Nursing Core Concepts, Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
I believe in staying informed of the latest techniques and products. In addition to numerous refresher courses and seminars I’m currently studying at South University to continue my education to obtain Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practioner.

Michelle Grignani
Licensed Aesthetician
Michelle is a licensed aesthetician in the State of South Carolina. She graduated from Kenneth Schuler in Spartanburg, SC in 2012. She has been trained in many different areas in the esthetic field but specializes in lasers.
Michelle loves to connect with each and every client and design a plan to fit each individual’s needs. She is very results-driven and loves to educate others on skin care.
Michelle is married with three daughters, 2 grandsons and a grand puppy! She has a passion for decorating and also loves the outdoors.

Melissa Simpson
Licensed Aesthetician
Melissa H. Simpson, ME brings 30 years of experience as a Medical Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician. After having experienced skin problems of her own, she decided at a young age to dedicate herself to helping people feel great about the way they look and feel about themselves.
She began her career by working with a plastic surgeon to develop a medical skin care practice. Through the years, she not only built this practice into one of the top offices for different medical skin care lines in the US, but also trained numerous technicians within the practice.
An opportunity became available for her to continue her education in laser aesthetics. She has extensive experience in different modalities with some of the top laser companies. As her passion for laser technology grew, she helped other physicians develop medical spas within their practice.
She resides in Easley, SC along with her “better half” and their Westie with extreme “Westitude” in an Airplane community. They have a passion for flying and enjoy volunteering at TripleTree Aerodrome.
Always looking for new opportunities for herself and her patients, she now practices at Serenity Med Spa. She welcomes the opportunity to serve her patients with the best technology available in skin care.

Ricardo Cuevas
Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist
Ricardo Cuevas is a 1992 graduate of the Hawaiian Islands School of Body Therapies, a 630-hour Orthopedic Massage Therapy training program located in Kailua Kona, HI, and maintains current Massage/Bodywork licenses in South Carolina, Florida and New York.
Ricardo is pleased to be returning to the upstate area after spending 7 years in sunny Naples, FL, where he was in associative practice with the Joint Replacement Institute and TruGlo MedSpa.
From 2006 - 2010 Ricardo owned and operated a successful private practice in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. During his time there his practice grew to over 300 clients, comprised of visiting celebrities, international business owners, local residents, and tourists. Prior to his time in Cabo San Lucas, Ricardo owned and operated a large private practice on Long Island, NY (1992 - 2006). During his fourteen years on Long Island, Ricardo developed an active client base of over 850 persons, primarily the result of referrals from physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors, as well as Pilates instructors, yoga instructors, and personal trainers.
Ricardo is excited to share his twenty-seven years of experience with the upstate area.
